iPay POS - New iPhone Solution for PayJunction Trinity Gateway
We are happy to announce the release of a new mobile processing app for the iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad that is compatible with PayJunction's Trinity System!! Finally, the wait is over. All of our users who have been hounding us about getting an app up on iTunes can download this new app for a free trial. Developed by Rapadev, LLC, the guys behind the successful app ProcessAway, iPay is a multi gateway application that includes PayJunction as one of its accepted gateways. See it in action here.
The software is free and is now swipe-capable with their new iMag card reader. This is very exciting as it allows iPhone users to have a cheap portable swiping solution harnessing the power of the Trinity System. While the Trinity Easy Swipe™ currently works with Palm and Windows based smart phones this would seriously update the portable usability of PayJunction's award winning payment gateway. While the iPay app works with a multitude gateways, none deliver the 3-in-1 functionality that Trinity does...making this combo a win win.
We tested the iMag reader and were very happy with its results. The software is very fast and allows for on-screen signature capture along with the ability to email receipts to your customer. The hardware only runs $79.95 which is a steal considering how much you could potentially be saving by swiping vs. keying in. Note: The iPay website does offer a merchant account through a partnered ISO. However, WE DO NOT recommend going with this as their pricing and fees are not completely open on the application. There is no mention of rewards cards, mid qual or corporate/foreign cards which WILL be charged at a higher rate.
